Hello, has anyone ever successfully done a hectograph to create their zine? Or heck, just made a hectograph work at all? I have been struggling to get an image with one. I am using mimeograph sheets and a “geli plate” commercial gelatin plate and water.

So I know most of you know but if you’re feeling cooped up from sheltering in place there’s TONS of Zine goodness on the Internet Archive. Print them, download them to an e-reader, explore new topics, deep dive familiar ones, you do you. 🙂

Here\’s a cool PDF I found somewhere called \”The Repro Guide.\” The section called Xerography is really awesome. It\’s a a deeper dive into copier art than I\’ve previously seen.

If you have probs with the site or someone on it (a couple spammers have made it through our defenses) I’m the guy to talk to. There are a few backup admins and Krissy (The original WMZ found) still owns the domain but I put this WMZ site together and I maintain it and the server it resides on.

Hey does anyone else use ZineWiki? It seems to be “off line” I cannot log in and the site’s style sheet doesn’t seem to load (for me at least) is anyone else having problems with the site?
