    Is there anyway we could have a page on WMZ for a calendar of zine events? Where you could click on the month, then see what’s coming up? Maybe not for every little local reading, but at least for zinefests. There are so many all over the country, and world, and it’d be nice to have one central place to compare when different things are happening.

    I’m sure it’s possible and I’d be happy to add it, I’d just need someone interested in running/moderating it. I have no problem with our community posting events but it’d be good to have someone checking in on it, adding events for people who don’t want to sign up as well as finding events to add to it. If someone is interested in maintaining it, I can make an event calendar happen.

    Depending on how user-friendly it is, I don’t mind putting in the time. I could moderate, add new stuff, add links, etc. I’m not envisioning anything too crazy, just something where you could click on the month, and it would have stuff. But if you set it up, i’ll add the content.

    I added a calendar we can try out and see if we like it. Billy I bumped you up to contributor so I’m wondering if you have an “Events” button in the black bar at the top. If so can you add/edit/etc events?

    I can see the ‘Events’ button at the top even though I’m not a contributor, if that info helps anything.

    check and see if adding events is an option. I added the ability to add and edit one’s one events to “subscribers” (most everyone) with “contributor” being like an event admin able to editing delete other’s events as well as their own. Time to see if these plugins play nice with each other 🙂

    I can see the events and such, but I’m not seeing a way to add events in.

    yes, i see the events stuff at the top! Cool. Let me try to add a few new events. rock on.
